Fruits Basket Chapter 121 Discussion

The convergence of Akito's & Tohru's feelings is a breathtaking master stroke.  It took me a while to really appreciate this moment.  I think about what would have happened if their circumstances were reversed, with Ren coming to unconditionally love Akito before she broke & Kyoko completely abandoning Tohru.



Furuba constantly humbles me and makes me consider the vast cycle of life that's beyond our control.  Though simultaneously, Tohru is a testament to how someone can choose how life defines them.
