Fruits Basket Chapter 93 Discussion

It was absolutely gutting to see Tohru watch as Kyoko withered away.  Everything comes full circle to how Tohru could sense she was going to lose her mother, desperately waiting for Kyoko to return home because that's all she could do.



Well at this point, I'll safely give Fruits Basket its due 10/10.  These last few chapters have driven home why the anime is among my favorites and the manga will surely be up there as well.

                        Powerful, powerful arc about Kyoko. Tohru as a child watching her mother breakdown was tough, it's interesting because it seems she was very close to ending up as broken as most of the Zodiac children before Kyoko came to her senses. And I like how things tie back to Kyo in the present day. The Story has hinted at it, but it seems that he was present when Kyoko was killed and at the least feels guilty. Doubt he like murdered her though. And yet the last lines of the chapter definitely have a very positive vibe, so let's stay optimistic fellow readers.
