Fruits Basket Chapter 90 Discussion

                        So we finally get to see Kyoko's past and how she met Katsuya. It makes sense that she lashed out like that, given her parents' neglectful behavior and her classmates' scorn. But it's nice that she found someone she can open up to.

I hope I can safely return this volume to the library without damaging it from shedding too many tears on the pages.



I didn't expect to reach this part so soon.  Kyoko's backstory is the most relatable & personal for me.  The part that hits me the hardest here is when she's telling everyone to die, only to remember that she wanted to be someone who could love & be loved.  I find myself constantly wrestling with similar feelings, wondering where things went wrong and what led me astray from my purest wishes.
