Fruits Basket Chapter 72 Discussion

The meeting scene was great in and of itself but my favorite part of the chapter was the short part between Tohru and Yuki. Kind of alludes to how the two of them are kind of going on different paths while staying friends.

This chapter was really hard to read. I could practically feel Yuki's helplessness, knowing that he may be talking but his words are not getting through to his mother at all. I'm glad Ayame stepped in at the right moment, and that Yuki was able to tell her that he wants to make his own decisions.
