Fruits Basket Chapter 40 Discussion

                        Well, I'm pretty sure we are definitely in the territory the anime didn't adapt now. A couple of chapters about how Uotani met Tohru and her mother. There is one specific sequence in this chapter that I especially loved, the part where her mother walks off and then her father walks the other way the very next panel with Uotani standing alone. Then it cuts to Kyouko finding them. It was pretty well done.
