Fruits Basket Chapter 38 Discussion

                        Pretty good two chapters about Kisa and Hiro. As usual Tohru's interactions with the newest Sohma to be introduced was a great moment in the manga. Hiro's response to it was a particular highlight I think. But, damn Akito actually beat Kisa because Hiro loves her? Everything points to Akito being kind of a vile person. He beats the family members, belittles them, apparently had Yuki locked in a room, and is no doubt a source for why Kyo is so ostracized by the family. Yet, we keep seeing the repeated line that the family "can't blame Akito" So that is interesting.
