Kekkaishi Chapter 344 Discussion

I kinda forgot about Yoshi's father.. I mean, that poor guy has probably had it the worse. Losing his wife out of the blue hoping she would finally come back one day. Him being forced to be mother and father for so long as it is. And then losing her in one fell swoop without even a goodbye face-to-face. That's pretty depressing D:

I don't want it to end why can't there be a happy ending :(

its a bit of a downer ending, but it'll be alright for me as long as the two mains get together and they do a decent epilogue.

Good but pretty depressing chapter.  I felt bad seeing Yoshimori's dad's loneliness.  



That last chapter had better like fifty pages.

Call me a masochist but I generally prefer downer endings to happy ones. I felt really sad for Yoshimori's dad in this chapter though :(

Damn, it's too damn sad.

^ It seems the same way to me. The author probably has too many problems to continue it any longer, though I wish she would leave it as a to be continued kind of thing. Its to depressing seeing this rushed ending and the resolutions are complete crap.

Yeah i agree it didnt end in the best way but the next chapter seems to be the final one so who knows maybe they'll wrap it up. The way i see it NOTHING can end up as bad as Xxxholic.

dam just 1 chapter left... really a rushed and lay down ending hope the last chapter redeem a little bit of that.

Yoshimori and Tokine better end up together or the whole thing will kind of feel like a waste for me.



I think this last chapter set it up so that they will end up as a couple because with the legitmate heir marks gone the two families no longer have to fued and there is no longer a need for 2 families.



So here's hoping for a romantic ending...



Also I feel really bad for Yoshimori's dad :(

Yeah. I am sick of happy ends in general. Although i really do want to see the couple formed by the end.



Although it is not like i loved this manga or anything, it is sad to see something so long running end.

Typical cliche ending. I believe the tsunami played a role in this, the story seemed to pick up its pace dramatically after that incident. And who can blame her?
