Wait, I am confused,
was Count D really the culprit? how do the eggs play a part in this? did he steal them in the bio lab as well as getting rid of the king's sperm?

Count D was the culprit, but he erased the memories of the people who saw his face.  The other descriptions were just "Asian guy in kung fu attire".  As for the eggs, I'm not sure about that.  I hope it isn't sperm... Count D would be foul AF, if he did that.
