MÄR Chapter 161 Discussion

A satisfying happy manga ending, It was nice fun to read to pass the time. I regret reading it on a shitty low quality scantalation though. a typical adventure story that does what it does best with lots of cool/good moments for sure and doesn't do anything major overtly wrong & makes you relive what it was like to be a kid again. that's is how I'd describe it. I like how the main character is like self aware and knows he'll grow up eventually and actually thinks about home promising to return before he even gets in and definetly better than those subpar generic isekai and generic m.c's that are op for no reason so it does that right. Reading MAR in 2025 has been quite the journey.

                        It was actually a really good series. Some parts seemed boring with the tournament fights, but the whole fantasy D&D feel to it was great. And the ending had some twists to it such as Ginta's dad still being alive. Sad its over though.

I agree with u. Though let me say that I like the anime a lot better. Both manga and anime though felt they were missing something. I'm glad the anime were added a few more. For the manga I felt it miss a lot of things and I still have some questions. Though a good series. Aaaah 10 years have passed since this series. This Was My Childhood!
