BLAME! Chapter 18 Discussion

This chapter shows us what kind of nightmare the Safeguard actually are... There's apparently no escape but who knows, what abilities still lay dormant within Killly.

I've fallen in love with this manga big time. The artwork is fucking unreal. I actually find it fairly refreshing how there's no narration/not much dialogue and the reader has to work out things themselves. Granted it can be pretty hard to follow, and not many questions have been answered, but it's completely aware of that which is why I'm more or less fine with it.



Can't wait to read the next volume. This is a MUST READ for sci-fi fans...

Props to the villagers for keeping their chin up despite what happened.

Watch Killy survive this one as well

Gargantuan safeguard gets stopped by a big constructor controlled by Cibo, while Killy fights against Sanakan. That’s what I figured from this chapter.

Some panels are really cool and awesomely drawn, while others feel really confusing and I have the impression not to understand what is happening.

Yeah I have no idea what was happening half of the chapter. The art was too dodgy

They are so screwed with that giant safeguard and Sanakan (!) that wants to eliminate Killy.



I guess it's safe to assume that he is another safeguard, I don't remember it to be honest but it could also be possible that he is something different and he just seems to her like a safeguard.



Did Sanakan block a GBE shot with her bare hand? Something was definitely not right, Killy was about to shoot the mass of safeguards when the giant one interfered and Sanakan was staning there.

I couldn't follow half of the chapter 18.



Cibo is in trouble. Village's population is about to get annihilated, Sanakan can absorb the damage of Killy's gun so everyone is pretty fucked up at the end of chapter 18.
