I went back through the book to look over it. I'm pretty sure I'm right about Ramba's age, but Kycillia is younger than her brothers for sure. She is around her 20s, while her brothers are in their 30s.

Seeing his actual life before the emergence of the zeonism helps to understand him a bit more. (the main story never actually presents him as an intellectual) We can see how "caring" was already Dozzle when he was younger,Gihren was as unscrupulous as later. The strangest thing was perhaps Kycilia, this little girl seemed so unrelated to the monster I knew.

I think you are under a false impression. Ramba Ral isn't that much older than Hamon at the beginning of the Origin (during the flashback arcs), but he just begins to look worse and puts on a bit of weight due to stress. Kycilia is just as old as her brothers, save for Garma, I am pretty sure.
