The masked confrontation was pretty tensed, and confirmed what I suspected: Kycilia's animosity toward Gihren and her knowledge of Char's true identity (I loved her way to reveal it). It was indeed strange to see her recruit him after Dozle dismissed him knowing she's the intel head, I suppose she saw an opportunity to watch him closer and to get someone on her side against her brother but I do not understand how Casval/Char couldn't be armful to her as well, she's from the family he seeks to take revenge on (look at Garma, who first was the "Albert de Morcerf" of Char then a target to kill).
Meanwhile, both sides are working on large destruction solar-powered weapons of course, I know this is relevant but I don't like how they are prone to make the conflict escalate. Interesting enough, the Federation has totally erased her lateness in the war technology. (I don't know how good this solar thing really is but it reminds me vaguely the course to nuclear at the end of the WWII) Also, I assumed Degwin was dead based on Gihren's words (previous chapters) but Char talks about him as if he is alive. Anyway, I am conforted into my earlier opinion of him: he never wished the war to grow to this amplitude contrary to his son in command, a son waiting eagerly to launch some solar ray...
More good moments with Dozle. After such a promise, he is doomed to fall on the battlefield. Let him die honorably then. (zut, I am losing a character I like, again)
Ready to see those little Zeon ships, who remind me of Star Wars, in action.
