                        Well an interesting turn of events.  I like the idea of emergency rations that are spiked with experimental drugs that remove fear from the populace.  I'm not quite digging the cult shit, but it's the author's way to explore the concept of fear itself with exposition and eerie imagery, so I guess it was worth it all just for that crazy image of loonies on a broken skyscraper.
