Urusei Yatsura Chapter 363 Discussion

The art is gorgeous.



When I watched the movie I initially hated its artstyle because it looked so different from the TV series. But later I realized it was closer to the artwork of the manga. Heck, the movie deliberately made Ataru and Rupa look more manly even compared to the manga which was a very nice change.



I am worried about how the Remake will deal with this since it only has a set character design which won't change... It's not going to feel the same with the same Season 1 character design.



There's a small difference between the movie and the manga during the dinner scene. In the movie, Carla says she was careful not to bring any spores from her world to earth and it was Ran who put the mushroom in the hotpot. But in the manga, Carla herself gives the mushrooms to Mrs. Moroboshi. Classic Takahashi comedy.
