Bruh. What a wild chapter. I believe this chapter was parodying shoujo manga eyes that were popular at the time. Even then, this parody seems a bit ahead of its time. I think these types of designs became more popular in the early 2000's with the popularity of moe anime.



Love the last panel because it implies Ataru has been taking care of Lum for 3 or 4 days.
