Colored chapter. This chapter must've looked amazing in color even if it's only red tinted...



I know I say it every time but Sakura is so hot...



That snake spirit kind of reminds me of the one that possesses Sengoku Nadeko in the Monogatari series... I wonder if it's the same type.




I don't really remember the OG anime adaptation of this chapter. Seems like I forgot most of the later episodes of the series. Probably because I didn't rewatch them as often as some of the earlier and more famous episodes of the show.



But from the screenshots I remember that Ataru and Lum wore another couple outfit. They look so cute.

The whole snake vs slug vs frog/toad ending totally reminded me of Jiraiya and Tsunade facing Orochimaru in early Naruto back in the day. Of course this would've come out roughly 15 years before that series even began, but still lol. According to the cultural notes at the end of the volume that's actually based on Chinese mythology which I may or may not have known at one point, can't remember. Tomorrow it'll be onto the first half of Omnibus 14!
