This leaves Lum as the last person the girl gang wants to take "revenge" upon. Stupid idea cause all they did was piss her off by the end.



I do think Ataru has a point. Lum has a short temper. She gets triggered even when there's nothing wrong sometimes. But being with a guy like Ataru for so long probably worsened her temper. Well, at least she finally got another date with him.
