Ataru and Mendo probably permanently traumatized Asuka. Poor girl. Her first experiences with men were with two of the worst people in the world.



I know that gender segregation is a thing in a lot of cultures of the world (believe it or not, there are other cultures beside western culture) but this Mizunokoji family tradition is just pure insanity.



How the heck did such a stupid family survive so long? It goes for the Mendo family too.
