Urusei Yatsura Chapter 10 Discussion

Oyuki appears and Ataru causes snowfall in Japan because of that demon, funny chapter as always. Ataru and Shinobu under the blanket was hot.

Damn. Oyuki's design is so good.



Crazy that in the manga Ataru nearly assaults Oyuki. She didn't seem to mind it but this isn't something that'd go over well if it was written today. Especially by another woman.



Also, it's cool that on the 2nd to last page you can see the newspaper-selling main character Kei from Katte na Yatsura which was the one-shot prototype for Urusei Yatsura that landed Rumiko Takahashi a place in the manga world.



It's a bit weird that Oyuki is referred to as a goddess instead of a princess. Why would Cherry want to antagonize a goddess unless she's a youkai? Still not getting used to the weird translations.
