Chapter 183 is the halfway point of the Urusei Yatsura manga! Only 183 more chapters to go!



Though it probably wasn't planned, A Night Alone is probably the perfect chapter for the occasion.



I love this chapter. Ataru finally stops being a dumbass for a moment and realizes that nothing would really change if he actually did "it" with Lum.



Or at least that's what we're led to believe. Who knows, maybe Lum would become a bigger psychopath if Ataru did the deed with her. Maybe she'd find it unacceptable if he kept chasing other women after this and she'd probably end up killing him. Or maybe I'm just letting my thoughts run wild.




Of course, I absolutely freaking loved the anime adaptation of this chapter too. Episode 79 knocked it out of the park with it. It was probably most memorable for its outta nowhere Star Wars spoof. Too bad scenes like this are impossible to make in today's anime. Back then people gave less fucks about copyright infringement Ig.



Naturally, this chapter is also on my top wishlist for the Remake's Season 2. Let's see if it actually happens. I hope it does. There are 0 reasons for it not to happen.
