Urusei Yatsura Chapter 180 Discussion

Yay! Another chapter with Lum's alien gang!



This time they're reminiscing about their childhood. Lum, Benten, Oyuki, and Ran look so cute.



Even though Oyuki always avoided doing wrong things, she seems like the biggest "delinquent" out of all of them just for that lol.



This chapter came out around 2 months after Urusei Yatsura Movie 1 Only You premiered in Japan. Takahashi must've seen the movie by then.



It was her favorite UY movie and she loved Benten's role in it. She said it inspired her to put Benten (and possibly Oyuki too) in more stories. I wonder if this chapter is the result of that.
