Memes aside, it's both funny and sad that Ataru would pretend to be a dog just to mess around with some middle school girls.
I liked how this chapter was adapted in the anime episode 124. It took place at night and made the whole thing much more creepier. It was on brand because Ryoko practices witchcraft.
