I kind of hate Ten. He's an annoying brat. I understand Ataru's frustration for wanting to duel with a brat that breathes fire at you.



I also hated how Ten was introduced in the 2nd episode of the OG anime. So he was shoehorned in many episodes where he didn't appear in the manga chapters. He was probably added so soon because they thought adding a child character would attract more children to watch this show about teenagers and/or Jariten helped fill up more time with original content.
