that had to be the best chapter yet, what a concept!

Lol. This chapter was totally unhinged. Makes me wonder what was going on inside Rumiko Takahashi-sensei's mind at that time.



This chapter has quite a reputation in the UY community. Primarily because the OG anime never animated it. So a lot of fans don't know about this chapter.



It's insane that even the 80's anime couldn't adapt this. Though it makes sense. It has underage drinking, underage marriage, and freaking Lum nearly electrocuting Moroboshi to death. It's hilarious but also not very safe to adapt on screen.



Underage drinking alone would immediately disqualify it from being adapted in the Remake, though there were OG anime episodes where Ataru had alcohol. Underage drinking wasn't uncommon in anime back then.



I wonder if there are other chapters as crazy as this one.
