Urusei Yatsura Chapter 23 Discussion

Even though this chapter was adapted into an anime in episode 14 where Mendo made his proper debut, I barely remember a single thing from it. I could say that about most early episodes probably.



Anyways, when Lum isn't around Darling, I guess she just loves fiddling around with her alien tech. But it's a bit strange that she was using a computer to check her compatibility with him...



Horoscopes are pretty much pseudoscience just like astrology. Blows my mind that there are still people who believe in them. But this shouldn't surprise me.



I forgot that Mendo was basically proven to be the same type of idiot as Ataru so early in the story.



It's also interesting that Lum even considered Mendo as an option. I guess early on it was supposed to be an actual love polygon?
