Urusei Yatsura Chapter 22 Discussion

Finally, Mendo arrives. This is the first major chapter that changes the Urusei Yatsura status quo.



Starting with this chapter, Urusei Yatsura became a weekly series on Weekly Shonen Sunday on 12 March 1980. All the previous chapters were released erratically from 1978 till January 1980.



After reading this chapter, I appreciate episode 3 of the Remake even more. It was basically a panel-by-panel adaptation. What I originally thought was a JoJo reference, was actually part of the original manga all along. That was wild.
