Urusei Yatsura Chapter 108 Discussion

Another Ran-focused chapter. Though this one didn't feature her much.



BTW, PC is supposed to be an abbreviation of Personal Controller, not computer. Not sure why they just left it as PC.




This was another one of those episodes that was adapted very late into the anime. It was the 2nd to last episode in fact, if you didn't count episode 194 as a new episode.



The parallel between the adaptations of this chapter vs the last chapter was which was relatively early episode is interesting.



Episode 38 which was animated by Pierrot was the adaptation of chapter 107 and it didn't really include many original scenes. It just stretched the manga chapter to fill the runtime.



Meanwhile episode 193 which was animated by Deen had tons of original content not in the manga.



The fact that episode 193 was released basically at the tail end of the TV series also meant that it'd have very nice animation.
