That watermelon with a skull on it on the cover page is absolute nightmare fuel. Idk why. I like how the actual watermelon that appears in the chapter is a complete joke in comparison.
Japan has a lot of weird customs, especially in the rural areas. So I wouldn't be surprised if watermelon worship was a real thing happening somewhere in the country.
