"Special Cameo by Benten!" You can tell that Takahashi initially had no plans for Benten to return. Thank God she changed that. I don't think coming up with brand-new characters every week is the smartest move. Plus Lum needs her friends. Otherwise, she'd be lonely and seem more like a sociopath.



"Setsubun"? Wtf? Back in chapter 8, Viz translated this as "spring equinox" or some shit. Bad translation is already bad. But inconsistent translation is worse.



Very entertaining chapter. I didn't realize that Benten's gang (whom I thought were Benten's sisters) in the anime didn't actually appear in the manga, making them non-canon. No wonder they never show up again in the anime. Shame tho.
