Pocket Monsters Special Chapter 525 Discussion

first episode of the BW2 arc and i feel there's already quite a mess here.



the main part of this is the fact that they are mixing the post-game story of the original BW games, into supposedly BW2 games.

then there's the fact that now the settings are slice of life school, with the fact that two students are undercover. this also make the fact that i feel that this chapter alone was with the most talking in this manga history, and it was the first chapter in the arc.

the bad moment of all here was the pokedex part. what on earth the writer thought here? just like this they get pokdex because they showed good results?



i also dunno about blakey personality. but let's wait and see.

                        Black 2 & White 2 Chapter 1:



This is easily the best start to a new arc, and the pieces have already been set for it to be an amazing one. Whitley was the little girl in the previous chapter and still has the Foongus that used to belong to N. Black is already an accomplished Inspector and may prove to be one of the most capable Pokedex holders yet. He's also looking for Team Plasma members so we know he'll learn the truth about Whitley eventually. Leo is back, though he has gone nowhere considering how well he did in the Pokemon Tournament. Looker is back and he's subordinate to Blake. Hugh wasn't that impressive, but we'll see how he turns out.



Pokemon Adventures is not a manga that really uses dramatic irony, so this is a shocking development considering this is 52 volumes in. It's made me more excited to read this arc and I hope it turns out well.
