Chrno Crusade Chapter 50 Discussion

Joshua felt a similarity with his dream Rosette and the real Rosette so he attempted to take her as his sister, but when she went against him he determined she's not the same as in his dream.  That Rosette is gentle and kind.  At first I was upset about Joshua's development since it felt out of nowhere, but he was shown to pay attention to Rosette and he clearly has shown it was much more of a weak assumption than character development so I take that initial thought back.



If I saw that right Rosette tanked a shot to her frozen arm to get close enough to Joshua to knock him over?  That's gar.  "After all, it's only one hand..."  



As much as I love that I sincerely wish we had a better explanation of barriers.  This time she deflected attacks with them and set them up as remote bombs?  It's like they can do whatever they need to.  If I'm just ignorant and didn't pick up on their use enough my bad.



I also wish we had the scene where Chrno told Rosette about how she should be ready to shoot Joshua or at least his horn way earlier.  This flashback is less impactful when it's given now.  If rather we saw it happen and it built up to this moment then it'd be much better.  Chrno is willing to give up his horns to make it easier for Rosette.
