I think part of the beauty of Kamiyama is that he's conceptually the straight man. He's a good boy in a school of crazy delinquents. But, he's really strange too, he's no means a proper straight man. The way his mind seems to follow one simple path where everything kinda leads to something else, x to y, without ever considering anything else is quite hilarious. That and how he kinda accepts everything around him with relative ease and with tons of confidence. I think that's why his preaching is so funny to me when it occurs.
