I feel bad for Sasahara. He was set up to be an “otaku everyman,” but he is so bland and generic that he always falls to the background. He is the main character but he doesn’t feel like it. Saki always steals the show when she shows up. This was Sasahara’s chapter but Saki easily dominated it when she was there. Sasahara should receive more focus and progression then him becoming more open about being an otaku. This is only a minor complaint as this manga has been amazing so far.
