This is another well done chapter. The desert tiger scenes are somewhat compacted though, for example there is not the argument over the best topping for kebabs, Cagalli isn't shown in the bath, the soldiers in the aftermath of the restaurant attack are not shown being executed on the ground, and the burning of the village by the desert tiger isn't shown. However we do get a good explanation of Waltfeld's philosophy in the scene where he draws a gun on Kira, and this foretells the potential for the two of them to work together. Why do all friendships in Seed begin at the point of a gun?
