Flay/Kira/Sai love triangle is condensed, but generally this manga condenses things well. Sai seeing Flay kissing Kira in the hall after they have sex isn't a bad substitute for what happened in the anime. You still get to see how possessive he is and how much Kira will fight to defend Flay. The battle scene after it was also well done.
