This was funny with both of them not wanting to be more honest and straightforward with each other despite the fact they seem to be more honest with each other than with their respective "lovers".

                        Ahhh its a bit sad however if she won't return the feelings he has for her (and judging by the things he says I'm pretty sure he really does love her) I think its for the best if they don't see each other for awhile. They definitely shouldn't continue whatever you would call their current relationship because that is soon to break down even worse than it did at the beach if it continues.
