Parasyte Chapter 4 Discussion

I love the design of the parasites. Their dead eyes are very weird and give off a creepy vibe. I don't really remember if this was an aspect in the anime, but are they emulating different animals? The guy that killed the lion was a tarantula and Shinji was a praying mantis.

                        One thing is for certain, these parasites seem to have a connection to some sort of animal on the planet. Shinji's happen to be a praying mantis. Noe for more information as to why this happens
