Gardenia might be the goofiest gym leader yet. I'm surprised how none of the main characters have a caught a new Pokemon when they've had plenty of opportunities to get a wide variety of them. They have already gotten to the point where their starters evolved.

first evolution is the quickest so it's not surprising, though i would be glad if they will have more pokemon.
