Life Chapter 71 Discussion

                        Heh, I think this could be a turning point chapter. I think they are finally making up after the hatred of the past and present they have build up.

NGL, this chapter disappointed me.  They built her up as cartoonishly evil, only for them to now want a redemption arc?  I think the manga is still good, but this is something that keeps it from being a masterpiece.

this felt idiotic, the whole "letting the bad guy live is the actual punishment" is so cliche and stupid, ayumu going out of her way to prevent manami's death make no sense, manami being wealthy and influential will have to face little if any consequences of her actions, and ayumu has nothing to gain from leaving her live, the people she tormented arent going to be glad "oh, she may had a change of heart and become a good person" that doesnt change the past, it feels like a forced way to prevent any character from actually dying, so dissapointing

that is the meaning of this manga after all
