Pokémon Special Chapter 338 Discussion

pretty average start, but the manga is common with its slow starts. love how the female character designed more mature than the anime, but i'm not sure about diamond design :/

Here marks a very important point in the official English release. Pokemon Adventures had a tremendous amount of volumes already released in Japan before Viz Media started to release them in the West. There was a previous release but that never went beyond the Yellow Arc. To save time, the producers decided to release the next arcs at the same time. So while this volume comes after Emerald, it was four years earlier. Each arc is more or less its own story so this out-of-order release schedule shouldn't cause too many problems.



I'm not a particular fan of that style of comedy so I don't know how much I'll enjoy Diamond and Pearl, but I do like how this journey is starting. It looks like all the characters will travel together, which is a departure from he previous arcs. I wonder how long it will take everyone involved to recognized those two aren't the bodyguards.
