Mushishi Chapter 12 Discussion

                        It's sad that he'll never meet with his wife again, but at least I spy a new interest for him

Wow, that was pretty rough. He waited for his wife for three years, saw he for a few seconds, and then lost her again. Worse, his last memory with her was an argument.

Wow this one's pretty sad. The author is great at making bittersweet endings.

Wow, finding your wife after years of waiting and then leaving her behind again because she is not human anymore. I hope at least he can now start a new life in peace with himself.

For most of this chapter I was expecting the happy ending. What a letdown.
