Nodame Cantabile Chapter 127 Discussion

Lovely performance by Nodame... finally on the big stage! The color pages were really beautiful and this whole chapter had great art. I missed Nodame <3

As for Chiaki playing the role of the angel... isn't he thinking too much of himself? I mean, yeah, you could interpret it this way but still, it's all thanks to Nodame that she followed him and she gave all she had to keep up with him. :P Idk. Yeah, it could work both ways. Still, Chiaki is kinda full of himself.

Anyway, lovely chapter - I was a bit worried for Nodame's debut, but I'm thrilled it's going well so far. She deserves it.

I wouldn't expect any less from Nodame.  



Chiaki's interesting revelation towards the end of the chapter was intriguing.  Rather than Nodame being the angel, it was Chiaki who guided Nodame to the big stage.  It definitely has worked both ways.

Chiaki's been a real douche lately. He shouldn't have done with concerto with Rie - doesn't he see how sad she is? All she wants is for him to acknowledge her and finally give her what she's yearned for. He hasn't even mentioned doing a concerto with her. So now Nodame's doing what she always wanted to, but with Franz rather than Shinichi. It's just all wrong!

Even though I can't hear the concert she stop my heart. I am glad she pull it off.

6 months of waiting made this chapter kind  of short for me :/ but i loved it :D

I thought it was just OK. But it's what I expected anyway, just her playing, and that she would play well in her own way. I'm looking forward to the next chapter when hopefully they will talk. I really think Chiaki and Nodame both needed eachother to bring out the best in both of them, so they are both angels ;)

Anyone know when the next chapter is released? Is it a monthly or weekly release?

Its been too long since the last chapter .. but i'm glad everything's back on track and we'll be following what happens with nodame and chiaki. Want to find out what happens with the rest of the performance!

Nice. I can't believe it's been 6 months.

Does anyone else find that waiting for 6 months for the next chapter kind of makes you forget what happened before?? I had to reread it lol. Reading this chapter makes me love nodame x chiaki even mmore =D



Ah and I think the angel part means that he understands that not only is she important to him, but that he's important to her too. He wouldn't have gotten where he is right now without her, but she wouldn't have either without him! nodame cantabile <3
