Pokémon Special Chapter 99 Discussion

I loved it how the events of the first gen had actually repercussions on what is happening in this arc also how the first gym leader isn’t a gym leader yet. But as already stated by other users, the story is completely directionless if not for “let’s get Totodile back” and the Poliwag quest which Gold doesn’t seem to care that much.

this chp really made the point that the story didn't even had begun. really liked gold and falkner friendship.

I was curious about that myself. He does need something else going for him.

                        Gold really needs to set a goal for himself.  It doesn’t look like there are going to be gym leaders in Johto, so I wonder what challenges Gold will have to face.  The story just feels directionless at the moment.
