It took me 17 minutes to read this chapter.I laughed so much.This is comedy, right ?

For the last week our student had been slowly turning into a snail, I think it's time to call his parents

What am I even reading at this point 😭 the chapters just keep getting weirder and weirder.. i don’t know if ito will be able to top the weirdness of this one though, how does he even come up with these?

My thoughts exactly. ^^ x) But yeah, pretty gross, and gotta hand it to the author for coming up with it, it's pretty genius. And well, at least the snails have now each other, wherever they are. :D

The character development of this manga is really low, vague. The author jumps from one story to another, way too episiodic to me. I hope the author is doing this on   purpose to foreshadow something related to the actual plot, if that isn't the case then I will be very disappointed from this manga.

I know your post is from 2014, but you're in for disappointment. Junji Ito never focuses on developing characters, he focuses on taking x concept and telling a creative weird-ass story about it. The characters in his stories are mostly there as blank slates waiting to suffer by his hand.

That's one of the main reasons I don't enjoy his longer works as much as I do his short stuff. Too much of the same character for too many pages.
