Pokemon Adventures Chapter 90 Discussion

I hope red comes back in the future. He is a straight up badass. And Iloved the eending.

This manga, even not being the most popular out there, was magic for my younger self to get into the Japanese world. I read it so many times that I know it, chapter after chapter, but everytime I read it again, it still shocks me.

As usual, pokespe never misses when it comes to ending an arc. This is a perfect finale for gen 1. 



Yellow is an interesting character, being the first "original" character. Granted i'm sometimes a bit bored while reading this arc, but it's still enjoyable nonetheless. The "select few viridian forest trainer being able to sense pokemon's thoughts" concept is cool. Red being the only one who hasn't known that yellow is a girl is still funny to this day. Yellow X Red? Yes please! Though i would like Red X Misty to sail. Also, hello Silver!



Overall, I would give this a 9/10. Definitely weaker than RGB, but still great. I was quite harsh on this arc before (rating it 8.3/10), maybe because i don't really like yellow at first, but she has grown on me while rereading this arc.

Now, onto GSC, the longest arc, and the reason i've never been able to reread this cause i just stop around here usually.

Yup. What a great ending to tie up this whole arc.

I'm just sad that they are changing the characters and plot line.

Sigh no more red, green, blue and yellow :[



Don't think I can go on reading gold, silver, emerald and ruby and all those other junks.

That was beautiful, I love this manga. Although I wanted to see Red realize that was the kid he helped 2 years ago.

great ending for the arc, really loved the hint for yellow x red, and the "powers" of yellow really helps summarising up the arc, and lot of hints for next arc, that seems going to connect the ties that started this arc.



about yellow arc in general, it started kinda slow and strange, pace was terrible at first, but as it continued yellow had became more and more likeable character, and the last "story arc" battle made this arc much exceptional for even the RGB arc.

though RGB had been much better in term of originality, yellow succeeded nicely to continue the story without damaging it, and made this manga for another level.

I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed this but at the end yellow started blushing because of the thread connecting her and red's pinky finger.(This has to do with Japans legend of the red string of fate. this entails two people who are fated to be together[pretty much soulmates] that are connected buy a red string on their pinky finger) Red's following statement only made it worse.

It was really nice to relive the region of Kanto in a way I never experienced before! I wanted something light to read and I got exactly what I was looking for.
