So was the girl at the end supposed to be the reincarnation of Atan Hadas? Honestly, I'd always thought she was the reincarnation of the girl that married the guy that stole his sword (her name escapes me at the moment).

Liked the series overall, it was much better than I thought it would be :)

Very satisfying manhwa overall with a rather worthy conclusion.

It starts a bit too fragmented with a lot of characters and story elements thrown at you, but it all makes sense in the end... it's a good idea to reread first few chapters if you took more than 1 day to read through it, since it's easy to forget details of how the real life part of story started.

It's both simple and complex at the same time, the plot unravels step by step and it makes you awe how perfectly the pacing of information handed to you was... the moral of the story is also clearly portrayed, where one should treasure what he has.

I also usually hate time traveling series, since they usually end up a train wreck with author being unable to keep up with his own thoughts, but this one handed it in a very simple and precise way, just how it needs to be done.

A strong 8/10 from me.

Surprised that this had a 13+ teen rating with so much visual violence and rapes.. manhwa from beginning of 2000s sure reminds me of how great the world was.. back when people didn't care much for censorship and other bullshit we face nowadays.

I've just finished reading it and it was a fantastic read, specifically, the twist. I thought it was boring but the twist really picked up my interest.

@PirateKingz - great summarization. It's exactly what happened.

@jacobpaige - I know this is a year late reply, but yes. The girl who married the guy who stole his family sword, was already shown early in the series wearing the same swimsuit as Atan Hadas' reincarnation. You can tell them apart because of similar their faces are even after reincarnation.

The ending twist is one of the best twists of all time imo. This manhwa had great character development, I read this manhwa about 4 times because it is THAT good.

The artwork is also good and very detailed like most manhwa I read.

I love the ending! I really enjoyed the growth of the main from the beginning all the way until the end. He finally got the girl and a happy ending T_T

If you still don't understand the ending, I can summarize it for you.

It turns out that Moon Bin was taken to the past by the murdered sister of Sa Kyoung to avenge her and her murdered family. The real Sa Kyoung actually died right before Moon Bin's time travel trip, so he inhabited the body of Sa Kyoung. All the while, Moon Bin never understood why the sister haunted him rather than her murderer, Sali Tayi. As Moon Bin (aka Sa Kyoung) plotted to get revenge on Sali Tayi, he realized that the sister was haunting her murderer all along! Because Moon Bin was Sali Tayi in a past life! When Moon Bin killed Sali Tayi and allowed himself to "die",he finally broke the chain of karma by ending the cycle of hatred and avenging Sa Kyoung's family.

When he woke up, he learned from his experience and began to appreciate everything that was lost to him in the past... ie. his parents (everything that Sali Tayi lacked) and chose to abandon the way of the sword... as a symbolic way to shed his past. As the monk said... who you were in the past doesn't matter... you can choose you are and who you become. When he did that, his life finally seemed to come together and he finally got the girl he was waiting for through the ages (the girl that he couldn't get in his past life as Sali Tayi).
