They want to kill off the human race. That’s the only logical reason I can see why they want to pollute the area.

Wait. Didn't the aliens say in the last chapter that they're angry about the pollution on Earth? Why are they trying to pollute it further? Sure, it'll hurt the humans, but it'll hurt them too, in the long run. Villain logic, man.
