That broadcast must be alien propaganda, surely. One thing that has been consistently bad in this series is the characterisation of bystanders and background characters. They're all so dumb and don't act at all how an ordinary person would. Aliens just destroyed the world. Nope, the war is over in a day and now we're going to live on their ship! Really? Yay! And what's this, humans are attacking the peace loving aliens who totally didn't just murder everybody. Appalling!
