I think Nurarihyon kills Oka in the next chapter. After that Katou kills Nurarihyon.

At least I hope this mission will end this way ^^

271 The disappearance of differences between one and another (*)



Comment on the front page: The light of hope (this sentence is appearantly incomplete)



Comment: Oka Hachirou furiously attacks... but the Nurari...?



Nurarihyon transforns into a mass with all the forms of the previously seen youkais.



Oka immediately takes out some sort of ray gun from the palm of his hand with which he turns Nuri to pieces.



Katou and the others watch the situation.



Katou: Has he won?



Reika: In...credible.



Katou: Is it over?... Really...



Reika: For real? So the transfer...



Katou: Gantz! Hurry up!



Anzu: We can... go back?



Since the transfer didn't start, they turn their gazes to Oka.



Cherry stares at Oka: Is there someone inside that machine?



Oka: You guys... don't die (*)



Katou: eh?



Oka: I'm not sure... this is over yet.



From Nuri's pieces, the 100 pointer returns to his first form, the old guy one.



Katou: Eh? Oh no!



Cherry: What are we gonna do?



Oka attacks with his hand palm ray but no damage is done to Nuri, who sits on the lumps of meat.



Nurarihyon: Interesting... Quite interesting.



Nuri stands up and Oka promptly attacks it with his right elbow blade, but Nuri evades the blow.



Nura: Ho Ho



Oka attacks him several times but Nuri evades all of Oka's attacks.



Nurarihyon: Yes I see, I see (*)



But Oka attacks again with his left elbow blade, cutting Nuri into two.



Katou: Oh!



Anzu: Ya!



Nuri thinks something meanwhile.



Nuri: What is this I'm feeling?



Then, Nuri rises and regenerates, becoming one again.



Nuri: Ho! I see I see clearly shall we go! (*)



Nuri starts to respond to Oka's attack.



Nuri's attacks cut the cables of the super suit.



Nuri: Hey, look!



Nuri comes up with an elbow blade similar to Oka's and also...



Nuri: How about this? Hey



...strechtes his arm in the same way as the ones from Oka's super suit.



Oka tries to hit Nuri but the monster manages to detain the blow with his left arm.



Nuri: Yes yes very well



Nuri attacks Oka the same way.



Katou and the others begin to tremble as they behold Nuri's body growth to an adult like form.



Katou: Everything is useless... (*)



Oka hits Nuri in the face but Nuri blocks the blow by covering his face.



Nura: Ha ha ha ha ha ha!



GAN GAN GAN GAN GAN



After 5 hits, Nuri takes Oka's mask off and we get to see his face.



Comment: The difference between the rivals invites in desperation!?



Finally, a way to end it!?



Next chapter on May 15th

Hmm, finally started reading Gantz. I paced myself reading this over a 2 week period, because it was so good I didn't want to read it in a day. I guess I wanted to savour it in a sense. :D



As for chapter 271, I though it was not bad. I really hope this arc wraps up though soon...Phase 2 hasn't been as exciting as Phase 1, probably because Kurono is dead. I wonder if Oka will actually be able to finish off that alien? Or if, under some circumstances, he loses and it's up to the remaining Gantz team to find some solution. Also, I don't think Kurono will get revived immediately. IMO, it kind of defeats the purpose of killing him off, if he gets revived after only 1 arc. Reika is unsure about whether to revive Kei, Kato clearly is struggling with the thought of reviving Kei (because of the "cheapening life" thing)...



And damn, I wish Gantz chapters came out weekly. Now that would be awesome.
