I always had in mind that Gantz was looking for stronger individuals with a goal or purpose. He let all these people go through these hellish games in order to prepare them for what's to come. The real enemy. Some sort of apocalypse is on it's way and experienced players will be needed to save the world. All victims and collateral damage so far might've been a sacrifice to save more people in the end.



Maybe that's why Nishi was such a "dick". He could've thought that false kindness wouldn't bring anything.

These vampires just chose the wrong people to fuck with.

It's good that Akira had the decency to ring his brother up and warn him about his vampiric cohorts coming after them and it's kind of a relief that the journalist only leaked Izumi's details out of all people.

Wait, he ratted out Izumi? I actually won't mind this too much ... But still, is this all just a game to see which nation can fend off the aliens best? Cause then probably China or India would win ... More people = larger pool.
